1 Chronicles 16
1. David's festival sacrifice
4. He orders a choir to sing thanksgiving
7. The psalm of thanksgiving
37. He appoints ministers, porters, priests, and musicians, to attend the ark

(6) Jahaziel.--Not mentioned in 1 Chronicles 15, unless he be the Eliezer of 1Chronicles 16:24. The number of these musicians is twelve, suggesting the twelve tribes of Israel.

With trumpets.--Clarions, or straight trumpets.

Continually.--The Hebrew term is a special one, denoting at fixed and regularly recurring services.

Verse 6. - Jahaziel. Probably the Eliezer, who in 1 Chronicles 15:24 is coupled as priest with Benaiah, should stand in the place of this name or else vice versa.
